How it all started
Artificial Intelligence is not a new concept. It began as a dream of philosophers and mathematicians.
1950: Alan Turing
Turing published 'Computing Machinery and Intelligence' which asked the famous question: Can machines think?
1956: The Dartmouth Workshop
The term 'Artificial Intelligence' was officially born here at a summer workshop. Experts believed AI was just a few years away.
1970-1980: AI Winters
Progress slowed down and funding was cut. Experts realized human intelligence was harder to replicate than thought.
2010+: The Big Data Revolution
With the rise of the internet and powerful GPUs, Deep Learning became possible, leading to the AI we see today.
